Bright, bold & handmade—explore four stunning Postage Stamp quilts in sunny yellows.
Postage Stamp Quilt is a Classic Patchwork Quilt. Simple but Beautiful. This is one of the first quilts I got to make in Yellow. It really brightens up the room! I have this quilt listed 4 ways.
But they are a variation of the same concept. If you aren’t sure it is one we can determine the borders and everything after you order. I wanted to list them separately so people could see the differences, and because I have made so many there were too many pictures to put in one listing.
Crazy Squares Quilt
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all quilt. I currently have four listings available in this pattern, each with its own twist on the Crazy Squares layout and palette. Whether you’re after a cozy look with warm golds or a brighter design that feels sun-kissed, there’s a version that fits your space and style.
Each quilt is made to order in King or Queen size, so you can get the perfect fit for your bed, bedroom color scheme, or home décor goals.
Looking for a quilt that’s anything but ordinary? My Crazy Squares quilt in rich yellows and earth tones brings a bold, modern vibe to classic patchwork design. If you’re searching for handmade quilts for sale that combine visual impact with quality craftsmanship, this design delivers on all fronts.
What makes Crazy Squares truly unique is its balance of structure and spontaneity. The repeating square pattern creates rhythm and movement, while the placement of colors—especially these sunny yellows and contrasting neutrals—makes the entire design pop. It’s modern. It’s cheerful. And it’s handcrafted with care, one stitch at a time.

Snails Trail Quilt in Rainbow Colors – Storm At Sea Quilt –
A Sea of Possibilities with One Classic Pattern
The Storm at Sea quilt is a timeless beauty, but did you know it’s also the foundation for two of my other bestselling quilt layouts—Snails Trail and Double Charmed? With just a change in color placement and block orientation, one simple unit transforms into three completely different designs. That’s the magic of quilting—and it’s why I love revisiting this versatile pattern again and again.
Each layout has its own personality:
Storm at Sea is all about movement—waves, diamonds, and a sense of visual flow.
Snails Trail brings a bold spiral twist, like dancing whirlpools.
Double Charmed emphasizes symmetry and charm with a modern twist on tradition.
Whether you prefer geometric precision or colorful spirals, these handmade quilts all start from the same base—but finish with totally unique flair.
🧵 Handmade Cotton Quilts for Sale: Ready to Ship!
I currently have three finished quilts using this pattern, each with its own look and story:
Prefer something warm and cozy? This autumn palette version of the Snails Trail design brings all the richness of fall into a soft, elegant finish. Deep golds, burnt oranges, and earthy tones make it perfect for a rustic or farmhouse feel.
A gentle mix of lavender, blue, and gray cottons, this one has a calm, modern vibe. It’s a Double Charmed layout built from the same blocks as Storm at Sea—just rearranged for maximum charm.

Welcome to my Store! Thank you for considering a Handmade Quilt/ Quilts For sale!
The featured Picture is my take on the classic Storm At Sea Quilt. The traditional way. I also have a Rainbow version done in a more modern way . Both are beautiful. Lots of movement and flow with Modern Storm at Sea.
This Circle of Love Quilt is amazing! Its very close to a Whole Cloth Quilt, only with a splash of color and patchwork added. I did a circle inspired quilting on this one and it turned out amazing. The Mini Irish Chain quilt is also similar, only its a classic Irish Chain pattern. I decided to do it in a miniature patchwork, and the flow of it is beautiful. Only quilt I have made to date in Red and White.

Bento Box / Color Crush Quilts/ Custom Made/ Made To Order Quilts
Bento Box Quilt is for those who like the abstract designs, and done in classic Black and White. All my quilts can be ordered in black and white. And in contrast
The Color Crush Quilt is also abstract but with a beautiful focus color, and is made with some of my own hand dyed fabrics. Learning how to dye fabrics in small batches was quite the eperience. Learning about all the different dyes and ways to dye fabrics was a lot of fun. My favorite version of The Color Crush is in Orange, I had such a blast v=creating fabrics in Orange. Orange isn’t a color people often order, maybe that’s why I liked making it so much!
Double Charmed Quilt is another lively one. Shown here in lighter blues it has a soft flow, but done in brighter colors is a real show stopper. Its also available for sale right now in my finished quilt section. Double Charmed Ready to Ship.
This Corner Pop Quilt was nice with Gray. I have made MANY of them in blues, but adding the gray made it a softer tone. I’m always happy to make a quilt in any colors you want, I want to do one on pink or yellows. But By Far the most popular color for my orders are blues.

This Dream Big quilt is now officially finished and ready to ship, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out.
I’ve also got a couple of other exciting quilts in the works—the Bicycle Quilt is currently on my longarm machine, getting its custom quilting, and the Kaleidoscope Quilt is still in the piecing stage but coming together beautifully. But for now, the spotlight is on this Dream Big Queen Quilt, a handmade masterpiece waiting for its forever home. Let’s dive into the details!

The star of this quilt is its breathtaking Dream Big floral panel, which features an over sized blooming flower with stunning pastel hues. The soft transitions of pinks, purples, blues, yellows, and greens create a watercolor-like effect, making it feel both modern and timeless. The quilting enhances the floral design with intricate stitching that brings out the delicate details of each petal, giving it texture and depth.
The outer border is equally beautiful, with a striped pastel rainbow pattern that frames the quilt perfectly. The combination of soft colors and intricate stitching makes this piece an eye-catching addition to any space. Whether draped over a bed, folded at the foot for a pop of color, or used as a lightweight cover for snuggling up, this quilt is both practical and stunning. Follow More of My Work On My Pinterest
Beautiful Bicycle Quilt is ready for Quilting!
I’m Up and running on a new Dream Big. I’m doing the outlines of the petals, and laying in the base quilting, but this one will be custom quilted, and it has lots of open space around the flower for some beautiful free motion quilting,
The little on point border is super sweet, those little blocks are so cute, and frame it so well. As I was trying to decide how to frame this one, I remembered this cute little border, and it was perfect for this project. Which gave me an idea. I will soon be making and building a category for just the borders. As I have done many borders over the years, and yet I have no way to display the many options. So Look for it soon, so you can customize how your quilt looks by having the border options all collected up on one page. Im excited for that.
New Project! I have an awesome Project in the work! Its a double awesome actually. The Dream Big Flower Quilts for sale, with added Bicycle themes. 4 Beautiful Panels added to the front with the flower, and some patchwork border blocks and purples around the flower. I also just got the backing fabric and its amazing also, this was a great find!
Dream Big Quilt with Bicycles! Super Unique Project
I’m not sure how I’m putting it all together yet, but I have all the working parts here, and I’m working on the star border. The flower in the center is the Med Dream Big, and its beautiful in itself, but to have the added theme of the bikes is going to make this one a true one of a kind ~ Queen Quilt. I’m excited!
Custom Ordered Quilt/ Handmade Quilts By Taylor
I don’t often take orders for some hard to find fabrics. Or “ Theme Quilts”/ because you may see them online , but when you actually need them on FABRIC and NEED to find them you cant. But Now days you can get pretty much anything you want on fabric. This Spoonflower Co. has some great items!
( and NO…I’m not doing Cartoon Quilts, or Sports Helmets ~~~Ive done my fair share of those types of quilts) hahaha~
This Flower is going to be amazing as the focal point Custom Quilted and Double Batted,. And the bicycles are simple and beautiful. ( not like cartoon and sports ball quilts) 🙂 lol~
How Quilts Are Made / Bicycle Quilt
The Star Block I have going are Lemoyne Star, Super cute little guys. They are amazing in a quilt alone. but in these small little cutie blocks they make a great border!
All the Pieces and Materials are here, I’m ready to roll!
I will be seaming the Cotton Backing piece today and it will be ready to make a quilt sammich, and ready for the quilting all the 3 layers ( or in this case 4 layers). Subscribe to get direct emails on my newest projects! This one is a custom order one, But I have 2 more of the Flower Panels, and could make another type of quilt with them. I thought the bicycles on tis one are amazing! Super fun 🙂
Beautiful Bicycle Quilt/ How to Make Quilts
So Getting all the parts together, Ready for some assembly. Its going to be a queen quilt, so I will try several lay out and start doing some math…. ( math is hard) LOL But we are getting close. I tried putting the Floral print as a border around the flower, ‘Im not sure I like that, more than the dark putple which really frames it.
Deciding the Border Details/ Quilt Sammich Layer 1 of 3
Its hard to tell by these rough photos, but it will look awesome on the bed. I think I really like the more seperation from the center and the stars. meaning there will be space for the eye to rest and ensure that the stars drape on the sides , rather than on the surface. Its coming together Just Great!
Coming Soon: Civil War Era Quilt/ 3rd Variation
We are trying to decide which one to do…. I like them all… You pick! haha 🙂 New Project soon!

Over the years, the Color Crush Quilt has evolved into a timeless design. The original Quilts for Sale version was created in purples and cream, crafted for a special order from the UK—my first time ever shipping overseas! While it was an exciting milestone, the fees and paperwork involved in international shipping turned out to be more than I wanted to take on as a regular offering.
Looking back at those photos from 2013—wow, how time flies! It’s incredible to see how far this design has come since those early days. Each one has been a labor of love, showcasing the artistry and dedication that goes into my handmade quilts.
If you’re looking for quilts for sale, each Color Crush Quilt is made to order with care and creativity, perfect for anyone who loves unique, handcrafted pieces. Whether you’re drawn to its bold colors or its inspiring abstract design, this quilt is a celebration of both tradition and modern flair/
The Journey of Hand-Dyeing Fabrics: Handmade Quilts, Made to Order with Love
The Color Crush Quilt played a pivotal role in inspiring my journey into hand-dyeing fabrics. Finding the perfect shade of purple wasn’t always easy, so I decided to take matters into my own hands—literally! Hand-dyeing fabric quickly became a super fun yet challenging adventure. There’s so much work involved in dyeing fabrics, especially in small batches, but starting small is key to mastering the process.
The greens gave me the hardest time, often refusing to turn out just right. But through trial and error, I discovered the joy of creating stunning purples, vibrant blues, and rich oranges. The dark, deep oranges became my personal favorite—who knew there were so many beautiful shades of orange waiting to be uncovered?
This process has added a whole new layer of creativity and customization to my handmade quilts. Each fabric I dye is infused with care and intention, making every quilt truly unique. The journey of hand-dyeing has deepened my love for quilting, allowing me to offer made-to-order quilts that celebrate the artistry of color and texture.
The name “Color Crush Quilt” began with this vibrant orange version, inspired by the nostalgic Orange Crush soda.
But what happens when you create it in blue? Naturally, it becomes “Blue Crush!” This evolution sparked the idea of naming the collection Color Crush Quilt—a perfect reflection of its colorful versatility. I’ve always dreamed of making it in yellow someday; wouldn’t that be awesome!
The “Crush” in the name also speaks to its unique, abstract design. Unlike traditional quilts where seams align perfectly, these blocks embrace an unmatched, organic assembly. It’s a style not every quilter prefers, but it offers an inspiring creative challenge.
I remember thinking Orange Crush was perfect because I was trying to Crush the Blocks together, LOL especially at the end when you need to fit the last pieces in to get the size and to end up square with no half blocks. . Piecing it together demands patience, especially the first time. But with practice—just like anything in handmade quilting—it becomes more intuitive and enjoyable. Its also why I often don’t use patterns. When you don’t use patterns…. you cant do it wrong! haha ~ ( true story) reading patterns is a whole different set of skills. I often just wing it~
One of the joys of selling handmade quilts and custom-made quilts online is seeing how each version refines my skills. Each Color Crush Quilt is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted work of art, offering a fresh, modern take on quilting while honoring the beauty of imperfection.
SAMSUNGBlue Crus Quilt
Color Crush: Handmade Quilts and the Magic of Light
Did you know that quilt tops can double as stunning window treatments? The delicate layers of a quilt top, like those in my Color Crush Quilt, create an effect reminiscent of stained glass when sunlight filters through. The hand-dyed fabrics add even more depth and uniqueness to the look, as each shade comes alive with vibrant hues.
Hand-dyeing these fabrics is an intricate process, involving multiple steps to achieve just the right colors. It’s a labor of love, especially with small batches, but the results are worth it. The subtle variations in the purples, blues, and oranges I dye by hand give each piece its own character—perfect for creating quilts with unmatched beauty.
Using a quilt as a window treatment is a unique way to showcase its artistry, though it does come with a trade-off: over time, sunlight can naturally fade the colors. Lining the back side can help, but it slightly changes the luminous effect. For a high-up window or a space where you want a bold, colorful statement, a quilt top transforms into a one-of-a-kind “stained glass” display. I even made a small one for my bathroom, and the playful interplay of color and light is absolutely mesmerizing.
If you’re looking for handmade quilts or custom-made quilts, consider their potential beyond traditional use. The artistry of a quilt can bring warmth, color, and creativity to your home in unexpected ways.
