One-of-a-Kind Heirloom Quilts, Designed Just for You
Every quilt I make is a one-of-a-kind heirloom, designed with your taste, your space, and your lifestyle in mind. This isn’t mass production. This is authentic craftsmanship, rooted in time-honored quilting traditions and elevated by modern techniques. When you invest in one of my quilts, you’re not just buying bedding — you’re commissioning a future heirloom.
My quilts are more than decorative. They’re functional works of art. I use only premium batting, chosen for its durability and softness. The result is a quilt that drapes beautifully, wears well, and adds both warmth and elegance to your home. These custom made quilts in America aren’t just beautiful — they’re built to be lived in, loved, and handed down. Whether you’re embarking on a bedroom makeover, investing in timeless decor, or searching for a truly meaningful gift, a custom heirloom quilt offers unmatched quality and emotional value. No shortcuts. No templates. Just true American craftsmanship made with heart and purpose.

This Civil War–inspired handmade quilt was created for those who love old-country charm and timeless design. Rich, deep tones paired with soft off-whites give it that classic, aged look that never goes out of style.
The design features an 8-point star connected by an Irish Chain layout—true traditional patchwork with no shortcuts. Every piece is cut and sewn individually, building the quilt block by block into something both historic and completely one-of-a-kind.

Civil War reproduction quilts are inspired by fabrics and patterns used in the 1800s, making them some of the most timeless and meaningful quilt styles available today. Each piece reflects traditional craftsmanship while being built for modern, everyday use.
Sometimes the smaller quilts can be just as fun as the big ones.
New in Handmade Quilts this week!
This week I finished a few new handmade quilt toppers that are perfect for adding a little cozy charm around the house. Small quilts like these are wonderful for decorating a dining table, placing under a favorite plant, or adding a bit of patchwork warmth to a coffee table.
Two of the new pieces are made with Civil War reproduction fabrics, ( 2 available) which I always love working with. These prints have such a timeless feel and bring that classic country quilt style into any room. The Kalidascope quilt topper has rich, historic colors that really highlight the patchwork design.
If you enjoy Civil War style quilts, I also make larger handmade quilts using these same beautiful fabrics, so you can carry that classic look from a small accent piece all the way to your bed quilt.
I also finished a mini Log Cabin quilt topper, ( 2 new ones) which is one of those traditional quilt patterns that never goes out of style. Log Cabin quilts have been loved for generations, and this smaller version is a fun way to bring that classic design into everyday home décor.
Just like the Civil War quilts, I also create larger Log Cabin quilts, so if you fall in love with the pattern there are bigger handmade quilts available as well.
I really enjoy making these smaller pieces because they’re so versatile. A mini quilt or table topper can move around your home easily — one week it might be on the dining table, and the next it could be brightening up a coffee table or side table.
And of course, every piece I make is still created with the same care as my larger quilts. These handmade quilts are stitched to last, whether they are decorating your home or becoming part of everyday use.

Thank you for stopping by my blog — and for considering one of my quilts for sale! Every quilt I create tells a story. Some are custom orders, others are fun side projects made from leftover fabrics, but all are stitched with care and built to last for generations.
The Joy of Straight Line Quilting
This little beauty was a wall hanging for one of my returning customers. I used straight line quilting, which can look deceptively simple — but the results are striking and clean. It’s double batted for extra texture and weight, giving it that heirloom feel that makes handmade quilts so special.
The “Cracker Box Quilt” — A Happy Accident Turned Favorite
This one has a fun backstory! The Cracker Box Quilt got its name when I started saving my fabric scraps in an empty Saltine cracker box. Once it’s full, I know it’s time to turn those scraps into something beautiful.
Each block is made from leftover pieces from previous projects — it’s my version of fabric recycling! Not only does it reduce waste, it also creates a one-of-a-kind patchwork design that can never be duplicated.
Sustainability is stitched into every quilt I make — no scrap goes to waste, and every thread finds new life.
I love creating whole cloth quilts, especially for people who appreciate beautiful quilting texture over busy patterns. These quilts allow my free-motion quilting to shine — all those swirling motifs, scallops, and ruler work designs show up beautifully against solid cotton.
Each one can be made in your color choice. Think of it as custom quilting artwork that’s practical, washable, and eco-friendly — because cotton is not plastic.
Color Falls Quilt is a take on a Bargello Designed quilt. The progressing pattern can be very different depending on the color placement you decide on. This is one of those quilts that only the maker can visualize the end result. Even I have been surprised how stunning they can be, I made it in a more neutral toned ( purple and soft gray) and it was a great combo too.

Color Falls and Cascading Hexagon Quilts
My Color Falls Quilt (a take on the Bargello style) plays with movement and shading — each color placement changes the entire look. It’s a true artistic process from start to finish.
Then there’s my Cascading Hexagon Quilt, which I’ve made in several color stories, including the lovely “Strawberries and Cream.” Each version turns out completely different. My favorite part? Customers choose the colors — not whatever trend the box stores are pushing this year.
I take pride in creating sustainable quilts that are made to last — not mass-produced or disposable. Many fabrics in my quilts are cotton, which is renewable and non-toxic. Even if a cotton quilt somehow ended up in a landfill (which would break my heart), it would decompose naturally.
Each quilt I make helps cut down on textile waste, supports a small maker, and adds beauty to your home without adding plastic to the planet.
Cotton is not plastic — and handmade is not disposable.

This Quilt Pattern surprised me. As I made it I loved the colors, But~ they are very peculiar blocks to make. a variety of 3 blocks~ And as stand alone blocks they are no pattern. But when you put them all together, and spin them around in different ways, the pattern comes alive! It is a variation of the Storm At Sea Quilt.
This Blue and Green version is the Classic pattern.
Verses the one on top here that has a more whimsical design block to it. As a quilter I call them the same pattern but they really are very different when finished. That’s what I love about quilting is they can be the ” same” but depending on colors, and design they can look completely different. Beautiful when finished
This Quilt is made from the same center blocks but I added a different 2nd block to come up with what I call Snails Trail. Its actually available to ship and found in my Finished Quilt section located here> Rainbow Snails Trail
