Flash Back to When My Web Site crashed out on Google.
Newly UPDATED today March 2026
Good Evening! Just a quick check in~ To let everyone know where I have been. I have had website issues ever since Google did their big update. I know I’m not alone, but I got wiped out of all their search engines. My traffic came to a complete halt. Quilts for Sale was no where to be found with my name.
So I’m asking everyone roll with me for a bit as I put out some new content, (more than usual~ as I hate spam emails too). But I need to counter all the info/content that got wiped away. If anyone would like to help and share my posts or links where you have access to It would be greatly appreciated!
All My Links, that I have built up for over 9 years were all broken. So If I showed up in the search feed, the links didn’t work. I had to get approval from Google~ to get my name and site back out there. Cause I guess they think I work for Google…. LOL~
I’m very sad and frustrated with this, and the amount of work it has caused me. Its almost like starting over, except… I never went anywhere. I’m seeing my old Etsy links in the search. where they state: I’m no longer selling Handmade Quilts. Which isn’t helping either I’m sure.
YES! I’m no longer selling quilts on Etsy!! Not for over 6 years! Yet I see them using my pictures for their ads.
This Dream Big Project was amazing! Each petal was done with unique to it quilting. Super fun and creative project for me! This Digital Quilt Print has sold out and is no longer available. It was sure fun!
Until then here’s some of my most recent listing and quilts I’ve finished lately !
Thanks to my friends that have been trying to help me, Its very much appreciated! all my pictures are clickable, takes you right to the listings.
I’ve been busy behind the machine lately — and I’m excited to share something new and close to my heart! I just posted a fresh update on my Free Motion Quilting Blog, where I show the real texture and detail behind my hand-guided quilting. These are the kinds of stitches that make every quilt one-of-a-kind — no computers, just my hands and a steady rhythm.
Many of the photos in this post feature pieces from my New: Home Décor category — smaller handmade quilts and quilted runners, all ready to ship for the holidays. They’re the perfect way to add warmth and color to your home, or a thoughtful gift for someone special.
There’s something special about free motion quilting. Every swirl, curve, and feather you see is guided completely by hand — not a computer. It’s where my love of quilting really shines, and no two quilts ever come out exactly the same.
In this post, I’m sharing a few up-close photos of my hand-guided quilting work. These are the textures and stitch patterns that give each quilt its personality — from the bold lines of Migrating Geese to the classic rhythm of Hunter Star.
My Process in Motion
Free motion quilting is exactly what it sounds like — the fabric moves freely under the needle while I guide the stitching by hand. It’s a balance of rhythm and feel, letting the design come alive as I go.
I like to change up the batting depending on how a quilt will be used. For a soft, everyday quilt, I often use one layer of 100% cotton batting. For a little extra loft and texture, I’ll sometimes pair one cotton layer with one poly layer. And for heirloom or display quilts, double cotton gives that flatter, vintage feel I love.
Each choice affects how the quilting design pops off the surface — the depth of a swirl or the shadow of a feather can change completely just by switching the batting.
Computerized quilting has its place, but it can’t replicate the feeling of true hand-guided free motion quilting. My stitching may not be perfect, but it has life — small variations that make your quilt truly one of a kind.
Each piece is made using cotton thread wrapped in a fine polyester thread. It’s strong, durable, and perfect for everyday use — but it’s also the reason quilts should never be dry-cleaned. Over time, the chemicals can weaken that wrapped thread.
Flying Geese: A Quilt Pattern with Endless Possibilities
When it comes to timeless American quilt patterns, the Flying Geese motif stands out as a symbol of both artistic movement and symbolic meaning. In my Geese on the Path quilt design, I take this historical block and reinterpret it into something rich with color, depth, and custom style—perfect for those seeking handmade quilts for sale that carry story and soul.
Order Your Flying Geese Quilt here / Made To Order in King or Queen
The Flying Geese block dates back to the 1800s and is one of the most recognizable traditional quilting patterns. It’s said to represent direction, migration, and guidance—some believe it symbolized the journey to freedom along the Underground Railroad. In design terms, the triangular shapes suggest motion, making this block a natural favorite for quilters who love strong visual rhythm.
In my Geese on the Path quilt, I’ve layered rows of Flying Geese in a diagonal layout, creating a modern trail of movement across the quilt’s face. The precision involved in this pattern makes it ideal for showcasing custom color stories—from bold jewel tones to soft gradients.
Each quilt is made to order, which means the final look is entirely yours. Choose your palette, your preferred size (from Throw to King), and let me create a piece that’s as visually impactful as it is personal.
All of my quilts are made with 100% cotton fabric, batting, and thread. Why? Because cotton quilts are breathable, soft, and wash beautifully. When investing in a quilt, the feel is just as important as the look—and I make sure both deliver.
With layered cotton batting and top-quality stitching, your quilt will be as durable as it is beautiful. This is heirloom-quality construction meant to last for generations.
Explore The Storm At Sea Quilt Variations
The Storm at Sea quilt is one of the most versatile and visually striking quilt designs, known for its movement and depth. What makes it truly special is how the same foundational blocks can be arranged in completely different ways—creating designs.
like Snail’s Trail, Double Charmed, and other unique variations. Below, you’ll see how each version takes on its own personality through layout, color, and quilting.
Store in breathable cotton bags or on open shelving
Following these tips ensures your custom made quilt retains its shape, texture, and vibrance.
Why Choose a Made to Order Quilt?
Off-the-shelf quilts lack the personalization and craftsmanship that a made-to-order piece offers. When you order from me, you’re not just buying a blanket—you’re commissioning artwork.
Every piece I create is sewn one at a time with attention to alignment, stitch consistency, and visual balance. I’ll keep in contact during the process so you can see your quilt evolve—from fabric pulls to layout confirmation—before it even arrives at your door.
More Than a Quilt—It’s a Journey
The Geese on the Path quilt not only represents movement in design, but also the journey you’re taking in making your home more meaningful. Whether you’re gifting it, using it for cozy comfort, or hanging it as decor, it will be a piece full of story, function, and beauty. Follow More of My Work On My Pinterest
There’s something magical about a quilt pattern that doesn’t reveal its beauty until the very last stitch is in place. This Storm At Sea quilt is exactly that kind of pattern — a whimsical, multi-colored variation that comes alive only when all the blocks are joined together. I’m making this one as a custom order, and I’m sharing the progress here so the customer (hi, you know who you are!) can follow along every step of the way.
If you love this pattern, I also offer it as a Made to Order/ Storm At Sea Quilt/ Quilt for Sale/ in your choice of colors and in King or Queen size. See the full listing here:
The Snails Trail Quilt is a Beautiful Quilt spinn off!
The beauty of the Storm At Sea pattern comes from the combination of three unique block types. Individually, they might not look like much — but when arranged together, the illusion of waves and movement appears.
Snails Trail Quilt is a great spin off og The Storm At Sea Quilt. Using the same blocks, but instead of 3 different blocks, You Only use !!! Its Tricky to put together thats for Sure! You hope you dont miss one.. and if you do.. catch it before its too late! hahaha!
This quilt is bursting with color — the rainbow palette adds a joyful twist to the classic Storm At Sea design. The interplay between light and dark fabrics gives the illusion of curves, even though every seam is straight. This optical trick is one of the reasons this pattern has been a favorite of quilters for over a century.
How to Order Your Own
If you’re falling in love with this design, you can place your own Made to Order Storm At Sea Quilt request right here: Order Yours Now. Once your fabrics are chosen, my current turnaround time is about 10 weeks, giving me time to cut, piece, quilt, and bind your heirloom.
Classic Storm At Sea Pattern — A Quilt Legend
The Tone On Tone ( version of ) Magnificent Storm At Sea Quilt draws inspiration from the traditional Storm At Sea design—a time-honored quilt pattern known for its precise angles and mesmerizing movement. In its classic form, this pattern typically features a restrained, two-color palette—often neutrals or blues—that emphasizes the interplay of diamond and triangle units to create the illusion of rolling waves. It’s elegant, timeless, and visually calming

Geese On The Edge Quilt – Handmade Quilts For Sale / Custom Made To Order
There’s just something about a Flying Geese On Th Edge Quilt that always captures my heart—and my Geese On The Edge Quilt is no exception. This pattern has quickly become a favorite of mine, and every time I make one, I find myself experimenting with different colors and layouts. Each one turns out beautifully unique, and that’s part of the magic of custom handmade quilts/ Quilts For Sale
The Making of Geese On The Edge
The construction of this quilt is both simple and complex—which is why I love it so much. The design itself is inspired by the traditional Flying Geese block, but instead of keeping the geese in neat little rows, I love the idea of them trailing off toward the edges. It creates this beautiful movement across the quilt, almost like a flock of geese in flight.
The tricky part? Making sure the geese still feel balanced while also having that falling-off-the-edge effect. I think that’s what makes this design so captivating. It’s not perfectly symmetrical—and that’s exactly what makes it perfect.
I typically free-motion quilt these with designs that compliment the direction of the geese, adding extra texture and visual interest. Sometimes I’ll do swirly, windy lines like a breeze pushing the geese along. Other times I’ll do modern straight-line quilting, with some of my fabulous Terrl Loy Rulers which really lets the piecing pop. Either way, the quilting is always done by hand (not computerized!) and completely one-of-a-kind.
Choosing Colors – Endless Possibilities
One of my favorite parts about making a Geese On The Edge Quilt is playing with color placement. It’s amazing how the entire vibe of the quilt can change depending on what color scheme you choose.
Bold and Bright? Picture warm oranges, bright yellows, and deep blues — creating a bold statement piece full of energy.
Soft and Subtle? Picture soft greys, light blues, and crisp whites — giving a calm and cozy feeling to the quilt.
Moody and Dramatic? Black backgrounds with deep jewel tones like emerald, plum, and sapphire — creating a stunning, high-impact quilt.
I can also do this quilt in all neutral tones, using shades of whites, creams, and beiges. This gives it a modern minimalist look, letting the texture of the quilting do all the talking.
Built To Last – Handcrafted with Care
Like all of my quilts for sale , Geese On The Edge is built to be used, loved, and passed down. I always use:
100% Cotton Fabrics for the quilt top and backing.
Cotton or Double-Batted Options for maximum coziness.
Hand-Guided Free Motion Quilting (no computerized designs here!)
Washed and Pre-shrunk to ensure minimal shrinkage once you get it home.
The great thing about this design is that no two quilts ever turn out exactly alike. Even if I make another Geese On The Edge Quilt, the colors, layout, and quilting will always be slightly different—making yours truly one-of-a-kind.
Choose Your Size and Colors: I offer this quilt in King, Queen, or Lap Size, and you can customize the color scheme however you like. Just leave me a note when ordering, and I’ll work with you to make sure it’s exactly what you envision.
Pick Your Batting Option: You can choose between a single-layer batting for a lightweight, breathable quilt—or double-layer batting for a thicker, fluffier quilt with extra texture. Both options are built to last.
Turnaround Time: Since each quilt is handmade to order, my current turnaround time is about 12 weeks. If you need it sooner for a special occasion, just message me and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Behind the Seams: The Story of My 16 Stars, Color Crush & Color Falls Quilts
Every quilt has a story — and these three are some of my favorites. From the classic 16 Stars Quilt to the bold Color Falls and the wildly creative Color Crush, each one has its own unique process and personality. I love sharing the behind-the-scenes journey of how these Handmade Quilts come to life, especially when they end up in the hands of someone who truly loves them.
If you’re searching for Quilts for Sale, these three are a great glimpse into my style. And yes — each of these can be Made To Order, customized in size, color, and quilting style. So whether you love the traditional Ohio Star Quilt, the cascading beauty of Color Falls, or the artistic flair of Color Crush, I’d love to make one just for you.
This 16 Stars Quilt, also known as the Ohio Star Quilt, has always been a personal favorite of mine. There’s just something about the way the stars come together in perfect symmetry that makes this pattern timeless. But what really excites me is how drastically the look can change just by swapping the colorways. Its also a quilt I love to use my favorite rulers with, the blocks lean themselves to custom quilting so well 🙂
I’ve made this Custom Made Quilt in so many variations—high contrast, low contrast, warm home-spun antique colors, and even bold modern Black and White designs. Every single time, it feels like I’m making a whole new quilt. It’s one of those classic patchwork designs that works no matter how you change it up.
One of my favorite colorways for this quilt was a soft Blue, White, and Pale Yellow combination. It had that cozy, English Cottage feel that instantly felt like it belonged in a sunlit room with a soft breeze flowing in. I remember finishing that one and thinking, I should make this one again….
The 16 Stars Quilt can also be made in Made To Order Quilts/ Quilts for Sale. That means you get to pick your size, your colors, and even your preferred quilting density. Whether you love bold and bright colorways or soft and muted tones, I’d love to make one just for you.

Color Falls Quilt – Bold and Beautiful
Ahhh, The Color Falls Quilt. This one is such a showstopper every time I make it. It’s based on a Bargello Style Quilt, which means the design flows in a cascading motion of color—sort of like a waterfall of fabric. Depending on how you line up the colors, you can get a completely different look each time.
What I love most about this quilt is the versatility. If you want something subtle and cozy, you can go with muted colors like soft teals, greys, and creams. But if you want something eye-catching and full of life, bold jewel tones or bright rainbow colors look absolutely stunning in this pattern.
The Color Falls Quilt is another Made To Order Quilt. You get to pick your colors, and I’ll do my magic in piecing it all together. It’s such a fun quilt to make, and it always turns out stunning no matter what color choices you go with.
👉 Thinking of a Custom Made Quilt? This pattern is perfect for someone who wants a statement piece in their home. The movement of color is so mesmerizing, and it’s guaranteed to become a conversation piece.
The Color Crush Quilt has a huge history for me. Some of my first rebellions to not wanting to follow patterns. Can’t you start sewing blocks and then even though they aren’t the same size , somehow get them to fit? ~~~Why, YES>< YES you cant. I added more depth to the story by using and learning how to hand dye some of my fabrics. Which I must admit I don’t have much time to do anymore. But its a Beautiful Abstract Artistic quilt.
And of course The Migrating Geese Quilt, that one is a beauty once Quilted up, and it can be done very uniquely.
