There are a lot of “quilts for sale online,” but not all of them are truly handmade.
Every quilt I make is:
Cut, pieced, and quilted by me
Made with 100% cotton fabrics
Designed to be used, washed, and loved for years
No shortcuts, no mass production—just real quilting
Order your handmade quilt online in just a few clicks – choose King or Queen size, select your batting, and I’ll create your custom quilt. How to Order a Quilt
Q1: How do I order a handmade quilt? Choose your favorite quilt design, pick King or Queen size, select single or double batting, and add it to your cart. After checkout, I’ll contact you to confirm fabrics and details.
Q2: How long does it take to make my quilt? Most quilts take about 8–10 weeks after we finalize your fabrics. I’ll share progress updates as I sew your quilt by hand.
Q3: Can I choose custom fabrics or colors? Yes! Every quilt is made to order, and I’ll send fabric options so you can pick the look that’s right for you.
Q4: Are handmade quilts washable? Yes. All quilts are made to be used and enjoyed. Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, and dry low. (See my quilt care guide for details.)
Q5: Do you ship outside the U.S.? At this time, I only ship within the United States.
I’ve listed two other options—On Point Log Cabin and Wavy Log Cabin—but I’ve made Log Cabin quilts in at least six other variations! This timeless, versatile pattern offers nearly endless design possibilities.
If you explore different layouts, you’ll see dozens of ways to arrange the blocks. Small changes—like spinning the blocks, varying strip widths, or playing with size differences—can create completely unique looks. There are so many tricks to explore, it’s impossible to list them all!
Have a Log Cabin quilt design in mind? Send me a picture! I’ll let you know if I can make it—and I’m always up for a challenge.

Why I Love This Pattern So Much
I think what draws me to this pattern again and again is the sense of motion it creates. When you stand back and look at it, it almost feels like the stars and blocks are swirling or shifting across the quilt top. It’s unlike any other quilt I’ve made!
I’ve also had some really fun custom requests for this quilt. One customer asked for all shades of blue and white — it turned out so crisp and fresh. Another asked for the colors to look like a sunset — full of oranges, purples, and deep pinks. That one was absolutely stunning! I never get tired of seeing how each one turns out.
Each quilt you see here is carefully made by hand, using 100% cotton fabrics and traditional quilting techniques. Whether you’re looking for a finished quilt or gathering ideas for a custom piece, this collection highlights the beauty and versatility of this timeless design.
Finished Quilts vs. Made-to-Order
Some quilts you’ll see here are finished and ready to ship, while others are available as made-to-order quilts.
Finished quilts ship within a few days
Made-to-order quilts are created just for you (about 10 weeks)
This gives you the option to either buy now or create something truly personal.

Geese On The Edge Quilt – Handmade Quilts For Sale / Custom Made To Order
There’s just something about a Flying Geese On Th Edge Quilt that always captures my heart—and my Geese On The Edge Quilt is no exception. This pattern has quickly become a favorite of mine, and every time I make one, I find myself experimenting with different colors and layouts. Each one turns out beautifully unique, and that’s part of the magic of custom handmade quilts/ Quilts For Sale
The Making of Geese On The Edge
The construction of this quilt is both simple and complex—which is why I love it so much. The design itself is inspired by the traditional Flying Geese block, but instead of keeping the geese in neat little rows, I love the idea of them trailing off toward the edges. It creates this beautiful movement across the quilt, almost like a flock of geese in flight.
The tricky part? Making sure the geese still feel balanced while also having that falling-off-the-edge effect. I think that’s what makes this design so captivating. It’s not perfectly symmetrical—and that’s exactly what makes it perfect.
I typically free-motion quilt these with designs that compliment the direction of the geese, adding extra texture and visual interest. Sometimes I’ll do swirly, windy lines like a breeze pushing the geese along. Other times I’ll do modern straight-line quilting, with some of my fabulous Terrl Loy Rulers which really lets the piecing pop. Either way, the quilting is always done by hand (not computerized!) and completely one-of-a-kind.
Choosing Colors – Endless Possibilities
One of my favorite parts about making a Geese On The Edge Quilt is playing with color placement. It’s amazing how the entire vibe of the quilt can change depending on what color scheme you choose.
Bold and Bright? Picture warm oranges, bright yellows, and deep blues — creating a bold statement piece full of energy.
Soft and Subtle? Picture soft greys, light blues, and crisp whites — giving a calm and cozy feeling to the quilt.
Moody and Dramatic? Black backgrounds with deep jewel tones like emerald, plum, and sapphire — creating a stunning, high-impact quilt.
I can also do this quilt in all neutral tones, using shades of whites, creams, and beiges. This gives it a modern minimalist look, letting the texture of the quilting do all the talking.
Built To Last – Handcrafted with Care
Like all of my quilts for sale , Geese On The Edge is built to be used, loved, and passed down. I always use:
100% Cotton Fabrics for the quilt top and backing.
Cotton or Double-Batted Options for maximum coziness.
Hand-Guided Free Motion Quilting (no computerized designs here!)
Washed and Pre-shrunk to ensure minimal shrinkage once you get it home.
The great thing about this design is that no two quilts ever turn out exactly alike. Even if I make another Geese On The Edge Quilt, the colors, layout, and quilting will always be slightly different—making yours truly one-of-a-kind.
Choose Your Size and Colors: I offer this quilt in King, Queen, or Lap Size, and you can customize the color scheme however you like. Just leave me a note when ordering, and I’ll work with you to make sure it’s exactly what you envision.
Pick Your Batting Option: You can choose between a single-layer batting for a lightweight, breathable quilt—or double-layer batting for a thicker, fluffier quilt with extra texture. Both options are built to last.
Turnaround Time: Since each quilt is handmade to order, my current turnaround time is about 12 weeks. If you need it sooner for a special occasion, just message me and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Quiet Luxury for Everyday Living: The Modern Whole Cloth Quilt
There’s a special kind of beauty that only simplicity can create. A whole cloth quilt is the perfect example — clean, modern, and thoughtfully made. Instead of bold prints or complex patchwork, the design comes entirely from the quilting itself. One single piece of premium cotton becomes a work of subtle texture, creating warmth without visual clutter.
If you lean toward calm spaces, neutral palettes, and timeless pieces made to last, this quilt was created with you in mind.
Modern Craftsmanship Meets Sustainable Living
Today’s homes are moving toward fewer, better things — pieces made intentionally, with quality that lasts. My whole cloth quilts fit beautifully into that lifestyle:
• Minimalist Design A single, uninterrupted piece of fabric creates a peaceful, uncluttered look. It pairs perfectly with modern, Scandinavian, farmhouse, or Japandi interiors.
• Sustainable by Nature Made from 100% soft cotton, the quilt is breathable, washable, and designed for long-term daily use. Handmade quilts naturally reduce waste because they last for decades, not seasons.
• Heirloom-Level Construction Instead of being mass-produced, each quilt is individually crafted with thoughtful, slow-made attention. The quilting becomes the star of the design — adding depth, texture, and quiet sophistication.
• Custom-Made Options Available in Queen or King sizes, and customizable in a range of solid cotton colors to match any décor. Prefer a certain motif or quilting pattern? I’m always happy to personalize your order.
Why Whole Cloth Quilts Are Having a Modern Moment
For many, it’s the perfect blend of comfort + design.
They layer beautifully on beds without overpowering the room
The neutral aesthetic complements both warm and cool color palettes
The texture adds visual interest without the busy nature of prints
They look and feel luxurious while remaining highly functional
This is the kind of quilt that grows with your home — and your style.
If you’re looking for a quilt that blends modern design, sustainable materials, and heirloom craftsmanship, a whole cloth quilt is an investment you’ll feel good about every single day. Follow Me On Pinterest

Thank you for stopping by my blog — and for considering one of my quilts for sale! Every quilt I create tells a story. Some are custom orders, others are fun side projects made from leftover fabrics, but all are stitched with care and built to last for generations.
The Joy of Straight Line Quilting
This little beauty was a wall hanging for one of my returning customers. I used straight line quilting, which can look deceptively simple — but the results are striking and clean. It’s double batted for extra texture and weight, giving it that heirloom feel that makes handmade quilts so special.
The “Cracker Box Quilt” — A Happy Accident Turned Favorite
This one has a fun backstory! The Cracker Box Quilt got its name when I started saving my fabric scraps in an empty Saltine cracker box. Once it’s full, I know it’s time to turn those scraps into something beautiful.
Each block is made from leftover pieces from previous projects — it’s my version of fabric recycling! Not only does it reduce waste, it also creates a one-of-a-kind patchwork design that can never be duplicated.
Sustainability is stitched into every quilt I make — no scrap goes to waste, and every thread finds new life.
I love creating whole cloth quilts, especially for people who appreciate beautiful quilting texture over busy patterns. These quilts allow my free-motion quilting to shine — all those swirling motifs, scallops, and ruler work designs show up beautifully against solid cotton.
Each one can be made in your color choice. Think of it as custom quilting artwork that’s practical, washable, and eco-friendly — because cotton is not plastic.
Color Falls Quilt is a take on a Bargello Designed quilt. The progressing pattern can be very different depending on the color placement you decide on. This is one of those quilts that only the maker can visualize the end result. Even I have been surprised how stunning they can be, I made it in a more neutral toned ( purple and soft gray) and it was a great combo too.
Piano Key BorderColor Falls QuiltMulti Colored
Color Falls and Cascading Hexagon Quilts
My Color Falls Quilt (a take on the Bargello style) plays with movement and shading — each color placement changes the entire look. It’s a true artistic process from start to finish.
Then there’s my Cascading Hexagon Quilt, which I’ve made in several color stories, including the lovely “Strawberries and Cream.” Each version turns out completely different. My favorite part? Customers choose the colors — not whatever trend the box stores are pushing this year.
I take pride in creating sustainable quilts that are made to last — not mass-produced or disposable. Many fabrics in my quilts are cotton, which is renewable and non-toxic. Even if a cotton quilt somehow ended up in a landfill (which would break my heart), it would decompose naturally.
Each quilt I make helps cut down on textile waste, supports a small maker, and adds beauty to your home without adding plastic to the planet.
Cotton is not plastic — and handmade is not disposable.
