Handmade Quilt/ Beautiful Bicycle Quilt/ Part 2/ Quilt for Sale/ Made To Order Quilt in the Making

handmade Quilt for sale

So, Im well on my way with this awesome Handmade Bicycle Quilt. Beautiful Border work going on today.

This Handmade Quilt is coming along beautifully! It’s a Custom Order Design, completely one of a kind and made with love. If you’re looking for a Queen Quilt for sale, this Homemade Quilt is truly special.

If you missed Part 1 it is located HERE

Today, I’m working on the border details, and let me tell you—the decision-making never stops! We decided to add crisp white on-point squares to frame the stunning floral centerpiece. I think it gave the design just the “zip” it needed before transitioning into the rich dark purple fabric.

The four corners of this Handmade Bicycle Quilt feature charming bicycle panels/ at Spoonflower , and positioning them just right was a bit of a puzzle! At first, I thought they should all face the same way when laid flat, but once I placed the quilt on a bed, it became clear—they needed to “pedal” around in a continuous motion. Now, they flow beautifully in a circular path, giving the quilt a dynamic feel. It might not have been my original plan, but sometimes the fabric tells you what it wants! 😊

It’s always an adventure creating custom quilts, and this one is shaping up to be a real showstopper. Stay tuned as I finish piecing it together!

Placing the Corners in Before the Final Border

This is the part where everything really starts coming together! The bicycle panels are in place, and I couldn’t be happier with how they play off the colors in the big floral centerpiece. The flowers in the bike baskets and the soft ombré tones of the main flower complement each other beautifully—it’s like they were meant to be in the same quilt!

Bringing in the white on-point squares was such a great decision. I wanted something that would brighten things up without overwhelming the design, and these little accents did just that. They add just the right amount of contrast, pulling everything together in a way that feels both crisp and elegant. Plus, they give the quilt a subtle sparkle—almost like tiny twinkling gems set against the deeper purples.

Now, with the corners placed, the next step is the final border. That’s always a big moment because it frames everything and gives the quilt its finished look. I can already tell this Handmade Queen Quilt is going to be a real eye-catcher once it’s all stitched up. Can’t wait to see it on a bed—it’s going to be stunning! Stay tuned! 😊

Before the Quilting Gets Started

This Handmade Quilt is really coming together, and I couldn’t be more excited to move on to the next step—quilting! This one is going to be double batted, giving it extra warmth, softness, and that beautiful plush texture. And of course, it will be Custom Quilted, making it truly unique. That’s the best part of a Made To Order Quilt—every stitch is done with care, and no two are ever exactly the same!

For the finishing touch, I’ll be doing a machine-bound edge trim using that adorable floral print. I think it’s going to tie everything together beautifully, adding just the right amount of contrast against the bright white background. Those little pops of white scattered throughout the design will keep the whole look balanced and fresh.

With this quilt almost ready for the final stitches, it’s time to start thinking about my next project—a stunning Kaleidoscope Quilt! This one is going to be another Made To Order Quilt, available in both King and Queen sizes. If you love bold, intricate patterns with a mesmerizing flow, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for this one!

Time to get this beauty quilted up and ready for its new home! Stay tuned for the final reveal. 😊

Queen Size Quilt/ Made To Order Bicycle Quilt

You can already get a feel for how this quilt will transform a space. During the day, the bright, colorful flower will be the star of the show, adding a lively, cheerful energy to the room. But in the evening, as the light softens, it takes on a completely different feel—calm, serene, and almost dreamy. It’s going to look super sharp once it’s all Custom Quilted up, with the textures adding even more depth to the design.

Stay tuned for the final reveal—and don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss a new quilt in the works! 😊

Getting Started on the Custom Quilting

And Im Off and running! Getting all the outlines in and setting my foundation. Now I can scroll back and forth and move about the quilt freely. 🙂 I like starting from the middle and work out with this quilt. I never know exactly what Im going to do, Its best to build on it as you go. I did outline those tiny cute squares. Just love those. 🙂

Coming Up Next: Kaleidoscope Quilt – King Size Quilt in the Making

This next project is going to be a BIG quilt, and I can’t wait to dive in! The bigger, the better when it comes to these classic patchwork quilts—they truly shine in King and Queen sizes. Up close, the colors and patterns might seem bold and busy, but once it’s laid out on a bed, it transforms into a stunning mosaic-style design, blending beautifully into the space. That’s the magic of a well-balanced patchwork quilt!

Right now, I have about 50 blocks made, which I think puts me at about the halfway point—still a ways to go! I haven’t quite decided how I’ll border or quilt this one yet, but that’s part of the fun. Every Handmade Quilt has its own personality, and sometimes, the design decisions come together as I go.

And with temperatures in the teens outside, there’s no better time to stay cozy indoors and sew! Quilts for Sale/ Kaleidoscope Quilt/ Hows its Made /Part 1

Quilts for Sale/ Kaleidoscope Quilt/ My Quilting Blog/ Classic Patchwork Quilt/ Hows its Made

A new variation on the beloved Summer in the Park quilt—same style but different results/ Quilt For Sale

I’m off and running on this great new Quilt project . Classic Patchwork Quilt~

Kaleidoscope Quilt Made To Order ~~

UPDATE: Part 2 Making The Kaleidoscope Quilt

1. Preparing the Fabrics: The Foundation of a Square in a Square Quilt/ Round 1 ~~ King Size

Before any stitching begins, every fabric piece goes through a process: washing, drying, and re-ironing. This step ensures the fabric is clean, pre-shrunk, and smooth for precise cutting. It might seem like extra work, but it makes a huge difference in the final quilt!

For this miniature version, I cut both dark and light fabrics into 1.5-inch triangles. This small scale adds extra precision and challenge to the process, but it’s worth it for the intricate patchwork look! Its good to have some great Rulers To work with I like My TuckerTrimmer tool for these types of projects. It allows for you to make them bigger and trim them down. So you get precision cuts and all the points match up.

2. 1st Trim Down, Piecing , Building Blocks of the Quilt/ Round 2

The first step in assembling the quilt is sewing pairs of triangles together to form larger triangle units. Then, two sets of triangles are combined to create squares. It’s a classic “square in a square” style, but with a twist—what I like to call my Summer in the Park style.

3. Trimming Down the 2nd round/ Quilt for sale

once I have round 1 trimmed out, I move on to doing the same for another round.

4. Starting Round 3/ Square inside a Square

Once I have a light square, and a round of color, I move on to now making mirror image blocks. 1 dark, and 1 light again for a second round. this round also has trimming in between, Makes for a very precise and easy assembly. Looking sharp!

5. It has 2 different sets of Blocks/ Dark and Light/ Mixing them together

This is one of those great quilts seems busy up close, but in the right room at a distance is absolutely beautiful. This scaled down patchwork gives it that great classic patchwork look and appeal. The more there are the better it is.

Alternate Lay Outs~ all Light/ or all Dark

I like them all 3! mixed blocks, is my favorite, but the all Cream versions is super sharp too! So many ways to lay out a quilt like this.. I think I have done this one before with solid blocks in between too.

This Quilt is available for Made To Order Here ( not a finished piece yet, but it will be soon) will update soon with the finished quilt 🙂

Dream Big Quilt with Bicycles! Super Unique Project

I’m not sure how I’m putting it all together yet, but I have all the working parts here, and I’m working on the star border. The flower in the center is the Med Dream Big, and its beautiful in itself, but to have the added theme of the bikes is going to make this one a true one of a kind ~ Queen Quilt. I’m excited!

Custom Ordered Quilt/ Handmade Quilts By Taylor

I don’t often take orders for some hard to find fabrics. Or “ Theme Quilts”/ because you may see them online , but when you actually need them on FABRIC and NEED to find them you cant. But Now days you can get pretty much anything you want on fabric. This Spoonflower Co. has some great items!

( and NO…I’m not doing Cartoon Quilts, or Sports Helmets ~~~Ive done my fair share of those types of quilts) hahaha~

This Flower is going to be amazing as the focal point Custom Quilted and Double Batted,. And the bicycles are simple and beautiful. ( not like cartoon and sports ball quilts) 🙂 lol~

How Quilts Are Made / Bicycle Quilt

The Star Block I have going are Lemoyne Star, Super cute little guys. They are amazing in a quilt alone. but in these small little cutie blocks they make a great border!

Lamoyne Star Quilt

All the Pieces and Materials are here, I’m ready to roll!

I will be seaming the Cotton Backing piece today and it will be ready to make a quilt sammich, and ready for the quilting all the 3 layers ( or in this case 4 layers). I thought the bicycles on tis one are amazing! Super fun 🙂

Beautiful Bicycle Quilt/ How to Make Quilts

So Getting all the parts together, Ready for some assembly. Its going to be a queen quilt, so I will try several lay out and start doing some math…. ( math is hard) LOL But we are getting close. I tried putting the Floral print as a border around the flower, ‘Im not sure I like that, more than the dark putple which really frames it.

Deciding the Border Details/ Quilt Sammich Layer 1 of 3

Its hard to tell by these rough photos, but it will look awesome on the bed. I think I really like the more seperation from the center and the stars. meaning there will be space for the eye to rest and ensure that the stars drape on the sides , rather than on the surface. Its coming together Just Great!

Coming Soon: Civil War Era Quilt/ 3rd Variation

We are trying to decide which one to do…. I like them all… You pick! haha 🙂 New Project soon!

Geese Quilts: 3 Timeless Classic with Endless Possibilities/ Quilts for Sale

Beautiful Quilts for Ordering

If you’re new to the world of handmade quilts for sale, welcome! Quilting is an art form steeped in history, and the Flying Geese design is one of its most celebrated patterns. Whether you’re a seasoned quilt enthusiast or just beginning to explore the warmth of handmade quilts, you’re in for a treat. Let’s dive into the world of Geese Quilts—a classic patchwork design with versatility and charm. Added with Custom Quilting and you have a classic Keepsake Quilt.

And for those wondering, “What’s the difference between a quilt and a comforter?” don’t worry. I’ll cover that too. Let’s just say a quilt is like a tailored suit: handcrafted, detailed, and oh-so-stylish. A comforter? Think off-the-rack.

What Makes a Quilt Special (and Why It’s Not a Comforter)

Before we explore Flying Geese, let’s set the record straight: a quilt is much more than just a cozy bed covering. Quilts are handmade treasures, created layer by layer. I call it the ” Quilt Sammich” not all “sammiches” are the same.

  • The Top Layer: This is where the magic happens! Patterns like Flying Geese come to life with carefully chosen fabrics.
  • The Middle Layer: This fluffy layer—called batting—provides warmth and texture. I made a whole post on that <
  • The Backing: The smooth underside that holds everything together.

All these layers are stitched together (often in intricate patterns) to create a quilt. A comforter, by contrast, is machine-made with synthetic fillers and lacks the artistry of patchwork designs. No two handmade quilts are exactly alike, which is what makes them so special.

Now, let’s talk Geese Quilts—a design loved by quilters and collectors alike.

Migrating Geese: A Quilt Pattern with Endless Possibilities

The Flying Geese pattern is a staple in the quilting world. Its triangular shapes are traditionally used to symbolize migration and journeys, making it a meaningful addition to any home. What sets Geese Quilts apart is the array of design options they offer. Let’s explore the three variations I proudly offer in my shop, and I have yet even to touch the surface of ALL the options. But I do offer 3 variations.

Geese on the Edge Quilts for Sale

If you love clean lines and contemporary style, Geese on the Edge is the design for you. This variation places the triangular “geese” along the edges of the quilt, creating a striking border effect. It’s a modern twist on a classic pattern and perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your space.

  • Why Choose Geese on the Edge? It’s ideal for showcasing bold colors and geometric precision. Plus, the design naturally draws the eye, making it a stunning centerpiece for any room.
  • Customization Options: Choose your color palette to match your decor. Want a rainbow gradient? Done. Prefer monochrome? Let’s do it!

Migrating Geese Custom Made Quilts

Looking for a design that tells a story? Migrating Geese is all about movement and flow. This variation arranges the triangles in a cascading, directional pattern that mimics a flock of geese in flight. It’s dynamic, visually interesting, and deeply symbolic.

  • Why Choose Migrating Geese? It’s perfect for those who love a quilt with personality. The pattern’s sense of motion adds energy to any room.
  • Customization Options: This design shines with a mix of light and dark fabrics. Imagine soft blues fading into deep navy—or bright yellows transitioning to rich oranges. The possibilities are endless!

Crossing Geese Handmade Quilts

For those who appreciate symmetry and balance, Crossing Geese is a showstopper. This pattern features intersecting rows of geese that create a lattice-like effect. It’s a beautiful way to bring structure and harmony to your quilt.

  • Why Choose Crossing Geese? The interlocking design is both traditional and timeless. It’s perfect for anyone who loves a touch of classic elegance.
  • Customization Options: Play with contrasting colors for a bold look, or opt for a subtle, tone-on-tone palette for a more understated vibe.

Browse Quilt Styles

One of my most popular custom designs is the Jelly Bean Quilt—a playful, modern pattern that can be made in a wide range of color palettes.

You can view and order your custom Jelly Bean Quilt here:

If you happen to prefer a finished quilt with no wait time, I occasionally have ready-to-ship versions available as well:
Green Jelly Bean Quilt/ Finished Ready To Ship

Why Invest in a Handmade Geese Quilt?

Handmade quilts are more than just functional bedcovers; they’re heirlooms in the making. Each stitch tells a story, and every fabric choice reflects care and creativity. Here are a few reasons why a Geese Quilt deserves a place in your home:

  • Durability: With proper care, handmade quilts can last for generations.
  • Uniqueness: No mass-produced item can replicate the charm of a custom quilt.
  • Comfort: Natural materials and meticulous craftsmanship make quilts incredibly cozy.
  • Custom Quilting/ as with most all my quilts they are quilted densly and made to last. if your tired of the box store stuff falling apart after a year of use…. then its time to invest in a Handmade Traditional Quilt.

Ready to Bring a Geese Quilt into Your Home?

Whether you’re drawn to the bold edges of Geese on the Edge, the flowing motion of Migrating Geese, or the structured beauty of Crossing Geese, there’s a design waiting for you. Big Star Quilt/ Quilts From the Past

There came a time when I had way too many Quilt listings to manage—LOL, not much different from now! But back then, I decided to slim down what I offered, especially when I transitioned away from Etsy. Has it been a year already? Time flies!

I made the switch when Etsy’s fees jumped from 5% to 11%, they started charging carbon taxes, and they practically forced free shipping. If you didn’t play along, they’d banish you to page 97 in search results—talk about a motivation killer! All of that happened in just two short years under new leadership. Needless to say, I’ve never looked back. Now, I just give all those savings to the state in taxes instead—ha!

Anyway, simplifying my listings has been a blessing. It’s made my life so much easier, and I can focus on the quilts that bring me the most joy. Here’s a little throwback to some of my “way-back machine” quilt photos—enjoy!

Wall Size Lone Star

These smaller quilts are fun practice for me. You wont find them up for sale often, as they sell out pretty quickly. They are great for e when learning a pattern. My Beautiful Handmade Color Crush Quilt/ The Story Behind the Quilt/ Quilts For Sale

quilt for sale

Over the years, the Color Crush Quilt has evolved into a timeless design. The original Quilts for Sale version was created in purples and cream, crafted for a special order from the UK—my first time ever shipping overseas! While it was an exciting milestone, the fees and paperwork involved in international shipping turned out to be more than I wanted to take on as a regular offering.

Looking back at those photos from 2013—wow, how time flies! It’s incredible to see how far this design has come since those early days. Each one has been a labor of love, showcasing the artistry and dedication that goes into my handmade quilts.

If you’re looking for quilts for sale, each Color Crush Quilt is made to order with care and creativity, perfect for anyone who loves unique, handcrafted pieces. Whether you’re drawn to its bold colors or its inspiring abstract design, this quilt is a celebration of both tradition and modern flair/

The Journey of Hand-Dyeing Fabrics: Handmade Quilts, Made to Order with Love

The Color Crush Quilt played a pivotal role in inspiring my journey into hand-dyeing fabrics. Finding the perfect shade of purple wasn’t always easy, so I decided to take matters into my own hands—literally! Hand-dyeing fabric quickly became a super fun yet challenging adventure. There’s so much work involved in dyeing fabrics, especially in small batches, but starting small is key to mastering the process.

The greens gave me the hardest time, often refusing to turn out just right. But through trial and error, I discovered the joy of creating stunning purples, vibrant blues, and rich oranges. The dark, deep oranges became my personal favorite—who knew there were so many beautiful shades of orange waiting to be uncovered?

This process has added a whole new layer of creativity and customization to my handmade quilts. Each fabric I dye is infused with care and intention, making every quilt truly unique. The journey of hand-dyeing has deepened my love for quilting, allowing me to offer made-to-order quilts that celebrate the artistry of color and texture.

The name “Color Crush Quilt” began with this vibrant orange version, inspired by the nostalgic Orange Crush soda.

But what happens when you create it in blue? Naturally, it becomes “Blue Crush!” This evolution sparked the idea of naming the collection Color Crush Quilt—a perfect reflection of its colorful versatility. I’ve always dreamed of making it in yellow someday; wouldn’t that be awesome!

The “Crush” in the name also speaks to its unique, abstract design. Unlike traditional quilts where seams align perfectly, these blocks embrace an unmatched, organic assembly. It’s a style not every quilter prefers, but it offers an inspiring creative challenge.

I remember thinking Orange Crush was perfect because I was trying to Crush the Blocks together, LOL especially at the end when you need to fit the last pieces in to get the size and to end up square with no half blocks. . Piecing it together demands patience, especially the first time. But with practice—just like anything in handmade quilting—it becomes more intuitive and enjoyable. Its also why I often don’t use patterns. When you don’t use patterns…. you cant do it wrong! haha ~ ( true story) reading patterns is a whole different set of skills. I often just wing it~

One of the joys of selling handmade quilts and custom-made quilts online is seeing how each version refines my skills. Each Color Crush Quilt is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted work of art, offering a fresh, modern take on quilting while honoring the beauty of imperfection.

Color Crush: Handmade Quilts and the Magic of Light

Did you know that quilt tops can double as stunning window treatments? The delicate layers of a quilt top, like those in my Color Crush Quilt, create an effect reminiscent of stained glass when sunlight filters through. The hand-dyed fabrics add even more depth and uniqueness to the look, as each shade comes alive with vibrant hues.

Hand-dyeing these fabrics is an intricate process, involving multiple steps to achieve just the right colors. It’s a labor of love, especially with small batches, but the results are worth it. The subtle variations in the purples, blues, and oranges I dye by hand give each piece its own character—perfect for creating quilts with unmatched beauty.

Using a quilt as a window treatment is a unique way to showcase its artistry, though it does come with a trade-off: over time, sunlight can naturally fade the colors. Lining the back side can help, but it slightly changes the luminous effect. For a high-up window or a space where you want a bold, colorful statement, a quilt top transforms into a one-of-a-kind “stained glass” display. I even made a small one for my bathroom, and the playful interplay of color and light is absolutely mesmerizing.

If you’re looking for handmade quilts or custom-made quilts, consider their potential beyond traditional use. The artistry of a quilt can bring warmth, color, and creativity to your home in unexpected ways.

Thats it for this Story 🙂 Sew Ya Later Gators!

handmade queen quilts/ custom made heirloom quilts

Custom Irish Chain King Size Quilt”

If you’re new to the world of handmade quilts for sale, welcome! The Irish Chain quilt pattern is one of the oldest and most beloved quilt designs in history. Whether you’re a seasoned quilt lover or just starting to appreciate the beauty of made-to-order quilts, this classic pattern is a must-have in any collection.

Let’s explore the charm of Irish Chain Quilts

a timeless design that shines in both traditional and modern styles. And, of course, with custom quilting, each one becomes a truly unique heirloom.

I have 3 or 4 ways I have Custom Quilted these, The most recent was the Cross Hatch Custom Quilting blues and green. the texture on it was awesome. The Pea Pod / Feather design is super sweet too. I make up my own name of my quilting designs.

Craftsmanship and Quilting Techniques

The Irish Chain quilt pattern has been stitched for centuries, with roots tracing back to the early 1800s. Its signature interwoven blocks create a flowing, geometric design that is both simple and striking. Traditionally, it was made with two colors—one solid and one print—but today, it can be customized in endless ways!

I offer two sizes of Irish Chain blocks:
3-inch Classic Irish Chain – A timeless, balanced look.
2-inch Mini Irish Chain – A finer, more intricate variation.

Whether you love a bold contrast or a soft, vintage feel, this quilt adapts beautifully to any colorway.

Custom Quilted for Unmatched Texture

What sets my made-to-order quilts apart? The quilting! I personally custom quilt each Irish Chain, adding depth, texture, and personality. I have quilted these in several styles, and each brings out a different charm:

Cross Hatch Quilting (Blues & Greens) – A structured, timeless look with incredible texture.
Pea Pod / Feather Motif – A softer, flowing design that adds elegance and movement.
Curved Crosshatch Quilting – A unique take that enhances the classic Irish Chain pattern.

No computerized quilting here—each stitch is done with care, ensuring a one-of-a-kind quilt that will last for generations.

Handmade Quilts for Sale – Customize Yours!

Every custom quilt is made to order, allowing you to choose:
Size – Select from the drop down menu (King, Queen, Twin).
Batting – Choose 100% cotton for natural warmth or poly batting for a puffier, lightweight feel.
Colors – Classic two-tone, vibrant modern, or soft pastels? Let’s make it yours!

Unlike mass-produced bedding, a handmade quilt is an investment in quality and craftsmanship. If you’re tired of store-bought blankets that fall apart, it’s time for a true heirloom quilt.

Bonus Quilt: The 8-Point Star Quilt (Not Yet Listed!)

While sorting through past quilt photos, I found two stunning 8-Point Star Quilts that I never listed! These beauties deserve some love:

Blue & Gray Version – A cool, calming palette with rich tones.
Pink & Purple Version – A soft, romantic take on this traditional design.

Should I list them? Maybe managing 75+ quilt listings has kept me from it—but if you’re interested in one before it’s officially available, let me know!

Beautiful Cascading Hexagons/ Handmade Made Quilts/ Quilts For Sale/Pattern Variations

Beautiful, Handmade, Quilts For Sale/

2 Patterns but same shapes. Solid Hexagons, or 3 colored Hexagons both are beautiful!

the Black and Yellow Quilt is actually a different ” pattern” but is still hexagons, I loved making that 3 colorway, anything with Black and White looks amazing.

Behind the Seams: Piecing the 1/2 Hexis Like a Pro

Let’s talk about the behind-the-scenes magic of assembling this beauty! These pictures show the quilt in progress, and trust me, it’s a dance of precision and patience. The process starts on the design wall, where the layout begins to take shape. From there, I break it down into manageable sections—what I call “units.”

For this pattern, the units are pieced into three large wedge shapes (or halves, if you’re working with a solid version). These wedges are then stitched together into two halves of the quilt. Sounds straightforward, right? Well, here’s where the real challenge begins—matching up those angled cuts and making sure everything stays in perfect alignment.

Once the halves are assembled, they’re turned into rows. Then comes the moment of truth: matching the halves together and double-checking the order. It’s easy to mix things up, but hey, I do pretty good! 😄 Still, these angled cuts can be tricky, and getting those points to line up just right takes a sharp eye, a steady hand, and more than a little patience.

The end result is always worth it. Every seam, every careful alignment, brings the quilt one step closer to its dazzling final form. And when it all comes together perfectly? That’s the kind of victory that keeps me coming back for more!

I just love working with Cascading Hexagons Quilts! There’s something about the way those little hexagons come together that feels like pure magic. Whether you want soft, subtle tones or bold, high-contrast colors, the Hexagon Quilt has a way of making a statement—either loud or soft, depending on how you choose your colors.

I’ve often thought about making one of these in all creams—you know, tone-on-tone, no main color, just soft creamy shades throughout. Can you imagine how sharp and timeless that would look? Custom Quilted, of course, so the quilting itself becomes the star of the show. (Hmm… maybe I just talked myself into making one of those next!)

The best part about making these Hexagon Quilts is how they evolve during the process. Sometimes I start out thinking I’m going for a particular look, and by the time it’s done—boom!—it’s taken on a whole new personality. I love that about quilting. Every single one has its own vibe. When you order a Made To Order Quilt, you get to customize your colors, and that’s where it gets fun for both of us! I never tire of seeing how each one turns out.

Interested in a custom Cascading Hexagon Quilt? Pick your size from the dropdown (King or Queen), and let me get started on a one-of-a-kind custom quilt just for you!

Every Hexagon Quilt Has Its Own Personality

The best part about making these Hexagon Quilts is how they evolve during the process. I might start with a vision in mind, but by the time it’s finished—boom!—it has taken on a whole new personality. That’s the beauty of quilting. Every single one has its own vibe, and no two are ever exactly alike.

When you order a Made to Order Quilt, you get to customize your colors, and that’s where the real fun begins! Do you want a soft, dreamy look with pastels? A bold, modern twist with jewel tones? Or maybe a vintage-inspired beauty with warm earth tones? Whatever your vision, I’m here to bring it to life with a one-of-a-kind quilt made just for you.

Bonus Round Quilt: A Dazzling Challenge

Let me introduce you to a quilt I’ve only made once—a true gem! This design, featuring diamonds arranged on the diagonal, was as complex as it was beautiful. The customer who commissioned it is one of my favorite repeat buyers (I’ve lost count, but she has at least three, maybe four of my quilts by now!). She’s the type who loves to scroll Pinterest, sending me pictures and asking, “Can you do this?” Most of the time, the answer is a resounding yes!

Here’s how it works: she sends a batch of inspiration photos, I narrow them down to the ones I’m up for tackling, and then she makes her pick. It’s always a fun collaboration, and I love seeing her excitement when she finds the one.

This particular pattern reminded me of a Lone Star quilt but with intricate diagonal rows. The assembly was tricky—definitely a test of precision—but so worth it in the end. Once the top was complete, I moved on to custom quilting, which is where the magic really happens. That’s how every quilt truly comes to life and pops with personality.

I never made a listing for this one, but if you love it, let me know—I’d be happy to bring it back to life for another lucky customer! Repeat customers like this one keep me inspired, and their trust in my work means the world. 😊
