Sea of Chains — Handmade Decorative Quilt
Inspired by the traditional Storm at Sea quilt block, Sea of Chains gives this classic geometric design a fresh twist. Turquoise, aqua, and blue-green fabrics travel through the crisp white pattern, forming a chain-like path around the center. Black accents create a striking focal point, while the detailed quilting adds another layer of visual interest.
This little quilt is all about the details. Curving lines, feather-like stitching, and rounded quilting motifs bring the white spaces to life, contrasting beautifully with the flowing geometric shapes.
Two Layers of Batting for Extra Dimension
Sea of Chains is made with two layers of batting: one cotton and one high-loft polyester. This combination gives the quilt a distinctive, dimensional feel that sets it apart from a more lightly padded decorative quilt.
