This beautiful Blue and Gray Hexagon Quilt is a finished, handmade quilt and is ready to ship. Measuring approximately 58″ x 63″, it’s a great throw size for the sofa, chair, guest room, or anywhere you want a little extra quilted comfort.

I made this Hexagon Quilt using a mix of blue and gray fabrics, giving the traditional hexagon design a calm, modern feel. The different shades work together without being too busy, and the repeating hexagons give the quilt plenty of movement while still keeping the overall look relaxed.

This is one of those quilts that makes me think, Yep… blue and gray just work.

 

Handmade Hexagon Quilt – Made by Me

I’ve made this Cascading Hexagon design in several different color combinations, and I never get tired of watching the personality of the quilt change with the fabrics. The pattern stays the same, but the color choices can make it feel completely different.

For this Blue and Gray Hexagon Quilt, I wanted the colors to do the talking. The blues give it a little personality, while the grays soften everything and keep it easy to live with.

I personally piece and quilt every quilt I make. This one has single-layer batting, giving it a lighter feel while still providing the warmth and texture you expect from a handmade quilt.

Ready to Ship – Already Washed and Dried

There’s no waiting for this one to be made. It is finished, washed, and dried, so it has already gone through that first wash that helps settle the fabrics and quilting.

It measures approximately:

58″ x 63″

That makes it a wonderful throw quilt size—large enough to curl up under, but easy to fold over the back of a sofa or drape across a favorite chair.
