This unusual Log Cabin design combines beautiful 100% cotton batiks in shades of gold, salmon, dusty pink, bronze, green, and deep black. The varied batik patterns create an almost tapestry-like effect, with each section revealing another color, shape, and organic pattern.

The traditional Log Cabin idea takes on a completely different personality in this design. Instead of a simple arrangement of straight strips, the pieced sections create dramatic diamond shapes that draw the eye down the length of the runner.

The Tropical Twilight Log Cabin Quilt Runner measures approximately 49 x 19 inches.

The colorful batiks feature a mixture of floral, botanical, geometric, and organic patterns. The combination of dark and light fabrics gives the piece tremendous depth, while the pale quilted background lets the central designs stand out.

The runner is double batted, using:

• One layer of cotton batting
• One layer of high-loft polyester batting

The combination creates the fuller, puffier appearance that you can see in the quilting.

It has been fully machine quilted and professionally finished.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

This quilt has been gently washed and dried flat.

For continued care, I recommend washing gently and drying flat whenever possible.

Machine washing is acceptable on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.

I do not recommend routine tumble drying. Dryer heat can cause additional shrinkage and can change the smooth surface and texture of the quilt. Drying flat helps preserve the shape, fabric, quilting, and dimensional appearance of this handmade piece.
