Its all finished! YAY!!!! It washed up wonderful! This quilt is not only beautiful, but it is going to be a very warm snuggly quilt, to whoever ends up with this one. It was super fun to make, and I will be listing it on a made to order basis. This one washed up to 80 by 82, and i have it shown on my Queen Log bed. Super sweet!
Here is my work space, Im lucky I can leave it all out so when I have short times I can sit down and start working right away. But this is 1 of 3 work spaces I have set up. I have at one time been working on 6 quilts at once. I look back at that and think I dont know how I did it! Im always working on more than one. I love multi tasking 🙂
so this week Im going to start making the 4 blocks. mixing and matching in sets of 4. Its a lot to lay out this many loose blocks for pics, so once I get those assembled I can really see what we have 🙂 Be back soon~
Prepared the fabrics and Im ready to babysit this project the next 36 hours.
I really hope it turns out, I doing a graduated coloring from dark to light. means im going to have to lower the fabric I have rolled onto PVC slowly and let it process at different timings 🙂 Im shooting for a shades of Lilac, and want to do some custom freestyle quilting after I finish. Im only doing the front tonight the back will be another project. 🙂

Im so Excited this quilt got the finishing touches this week and is on its way to its home!
The Quilting on this one really softened the pattern to the eye. When I first started it basic blocks seemed very striking, and with the nice sharp contrast between the Primary Colors that were chosen by the customer, up against the bright white was really sharp. With the quilting it softened it. In the end it turned out beautiful!
I kept thinking as I made it, I have to wash these colors, and the worry about color running. BUT thats the beauty of custom made. I pre washed all these fabrics before I made it. So it washed up after wards amazing. Bright whites and sharp colors. Whew!!! 🙂
Using quality fabrics has a lot to do with it also. Nice fabrics dont let color go as much as a lesser quality fabric would have. I have no fear to put dark and light colors together, if done right, it can be done. 🙂 I was proud to ship out this beauty 🙂
This quilt could be done in a LOT of other colors
and be soft and homey feeling, Or modern feel with
Black and white prints, or fun scrappy mix of multi colors.
I have this smaller one I did that was the test one, it was super
cute and great for a throw Size Quilt.
Sooooo now Im back onto one of my many other projects,
But its a big day for me whenever I ship out a big quilt.
